Teeta is a café located in Kochi, Kerala. The project involved building the brand entirely from scratch—from naming to the full visual identity. The name Teeta originates from the mathematical symbol theta (θ), inspired by the idea that “theta is a common factor,” representing connection and interaction. The name also draws from the Malayalam word “തീറ്റ” (Theeta), informally associated with eating. By combining a cultural reference with a mathematical concept, the name creates a playful and memorable identity that reflects both local character and curiosity. The visual identity was designed to feel modern, approachable, and flexible, using clean typography and bold graphic elements that work across packaging, menus, signage, and digital platforms. The result is a cohesive brand system that helps establish Teeta as a distinctive café within Kochi’s growing food culture.
